Introduction/Dedication

This post may contain affiliate links.  Please read my Disclosure for more information.

This blog is dedicated to my beautiful daughter, Faith Melody Bryant.  She is the reason I began blogging since I wanted to share her brief beautiful life and the story surrounding her loss in an effort to help others with a similar loss(es).  While she is now in the arms of The Lord, she will continue to live in my heart until the glorious day we meet again.  It is my prayer and goal to have her life help others in any way possible.

For me, this can mean helping those who’ve lost babies/children by being able to read my story of Faith and her beautiful life.  In the picture above, I am holding our rainbow daughter Joy and Faith is represented with a shadow of a girl who is approximately 3 years old.

Introduction & Dedication

Sharing

Since sharing my story about Faith, I’ve already had the honor of experiencing others being able to grieve their losses. My Grandma has gotten markers for the graves of her 2 babies after I shared with her about Faith.  It breaks my heart that she didn’t get to do that before, but I am thankful that she has done so and been able to have that to grieve and remember while she is still here.

Reflecting

As I reflect back to the day Faith was born, which happens to also be the day she went to Heaven, it is as clear, if not clearer, than most of my days have been since.  The week after she left, I remember, but it is a bit of a blur.  Our family came to visit and show love and support.  For that I am grateful. I have since realized that not everyone who’s gone through this experience has family or has family that is able to drop everything to come be supportive.

 Blessing

Faith's OutfitIt has been such a blessing to be able to share with others who’ve experienced similar via blogs, Facebook, etc…  While some may think that talking about their experience or their child would make it more difficult, I have found the opposite to be true.

I’ve also found the movie Return to Zero to be very helpful.  While this experience has been the most dreadful of my life, I must continue to remember that The Lord gives me strength and courage to be able to keep going each moment of each day.

This begins the sharing of my story of Faith.  It is my story of Love, Loss, and Healing.  Although I have broadened the topic of my blog to now include sharing about our simple country life, my blogging journey all began because of Faith. She is and always be My Faith Melody.

I am now (Oct 2017) working on a package to offer to women/families going through pregnancy after loss.  I know from experience that staying joyful during these pregnancies can be extremely difficult.  I have searched and sadly found very few resources dealing specifically with pregnancy after loss.

Exceeding Joy Pregnancy Loss Package

Through this package, my prayer is to help these women and their families to keep their pregnancy(ies) as positive and joyful as possible.  Even though there will be tough times, with faith, love, joy, and the right support, your pregnancy after loss can still be a wonderful time!

If you have experienced the devastating experience of losing a pregnancy, newborn, or infant child, please reach out.  I would love to hear from you.  I am looking for contributions in the form of inspiration/quotes/other helpful tips for my pregnancy after loss package and would love your input.

With your help, we can save lives and help others to have joyful pregnancy after loss.  If you would like to partner with me or collaborate somehow with this package, please email me at sara@keys-of-the-kingdom.com.  I look forward to hearing from you and working with you.  Working together, we can truly make a difference in this world!

  1. I have tears in my eyes reading this. What a beautiful message of support. I lost my first pregnancy to miscarriage, my angel passed on before I got to know her. I love blossoms on a tree and planted a cherry blossom in her memory, that tree we had to leave behind in England but I’m grateful it exists.

    1. I am so sorry for your loss, Nazneen. It is so very difficult to lose a child in any way. That is a great way to remember her. We planted a hibiscus flower in Faith’s memory in our backyard in FL, so we too, had to leave that behind. Sad, but I pray it is blooming and blessing someone else now. If you have had any pregnancy after your loss and would like to contribute to the package I am working on, please let me know. You can PM me on Facebook or email me at sara@keys-of-the-kingdom.com. Thank you so much for sharing. God bless!

  2. This was absolutely amazing!!! So inspirational and heartfelt! I too understand your pain…i gave birth to a stillborn baby girl back in 2003. I want to thank you for sharing your story and being courageous enough to share your story with us!?

    1. I am so truly sorry for your loss, Anitra. I am always amazed how many others have gone through this type of loss. It just breaks my heart. I am sorry that anyone has to understand and go through this type of pain. You are most welcome for sharing. I want to share and help others to honor Faith. I believe that is what she wants me to do. If I can help to save another precious baby in some way then my efforts have not been in vain. If you have had any pregnancy after your loss and would like to contribute to the package I am working on, please let me know. You can PM me on Facebook or email me at sara@keys-of-the-kingdom.com. God bless you.
