The first (and arguably most important) part of stewardship is the stewardship of your spirit. If you do not accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior (there is a difference, which we’ll discuss at a later time), your spirit is not saved, sending you into an eternity outside of the presence of God. This is the saddest thing EVER!
If no one has ever told you about Jesus, lets take care of that right now! Jesus Christ, the son of God came to earth in the flesh to live, die, and be raised again to save YOU. If you believe in your heart that He did that for you and accept Him as your Lord and Savior, you shall be saved. John 3:16 in the Bible tells us that God loved the world so much that He sent Jesus to do that for us.
If you haven’t accepted Jesus into your heart, I encourage you to do so right now. There is NOTHING complicated about it. Just say “God, thank you so much for sending Jesus to die and raise from the dead for me. I believe in my heart that He is your Son and that you did that for me. I accept Him as my Lord and Savior right now. I thank you that right now, I am saved.”
If you said that and believe it in your heart, then I have amazing news for you. Your spirit was just saved. When your spirit leaves your body on the day your earthly body dies, you will go to Heaven to be with God forever!
What this means is that YOU (Spirit, Soul, and Body) are now saved. Each of the 3 parts that make humans up, has different guidelines for stewardship regarding salvation. When you accept Christ, your spirit is saved. That is really all there is to the stewardship regarding your spirit.
Congratulations and Welcome to the Kingdom of God on Earth! Please feel free to reach out to me. If you are not going to a good, spirit-filled church I highly recommend you find one near you and start attending.
God bless you!
